Sports Enhancement & Sports Injuries
Sports Enhancement
Physical Therapy treatment is unique because this practice allows us to use the techniques, principals and equipment commonly used for rehabilitation that can also be used to improve and/or enhance sports performance of virtually any sport.
The art and science of PT is based upon the understanding of muscle movement. By employing PT principals, we can focus on strengthening and enhancing muscles used most frequently in the execution of a particular sports movement. By being able to isolate these muscles and subsequently being able to strengthen them through specific exercises, some of which are rehabilitative in nature and others of which are specifically designed to improve strength, motion and movement, professional or even weekend athletes are almost assured of increased athletic performance and productivity.

Functional Training
Functional Training is the "missing link" between current training techniques and the golfer's ability to play his or her best game consistently. Dr. Seidner’s goal is to introduce a faster, safer, and more effective approach to improving a golfer's athleticism, overall performance, and fitness.
His Functional Training method conditions the body consistent with integrated total body movement, sports specific to the golf swing. It targets the golfer's ability to route or direct force from the inside out. Dr. Seidner incorporates a unique fun and effective training method that utilizes stability balls, medicine balls, various balance devices, power bands, agility and reaction drills, along with a strength training system. Golf is a multi-plane, multi-directional sport. Golf fitness for peak performance must be specific and targeted to mimic the activity.
